Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının öğretim yöntem ve teknikleri uygulamaları ile ilgili yeterlik algılarını belirlemektir. Araştırma tarama modeli şeklinde tasarlanmıştır. Çalışma grubunu Gazi Üniversitesi Gazi Eğitimi Fakültesi biyoloji öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplamak amacıyla araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen Biyoloji Öğretim Yöntem ve Teknikleri Yeterlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçeğin cronbach alpha güvenirlik katsayısı .87 olarak belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPPS paket programında t testi, ANOVA ile analiz edilmiş frekans, ortalama, standart sapma değerleri verilmiştir. Araştırma sonunda biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının öğretim yöntem ve teknikleri ile ilgili yeterlik algı düzeylerinin ailede öğretmenlik durumu, bilgi düzeyi değişkenlerine göre anlamlı olarak farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir.

Abstract:

The aim of the study is to determine biology preservice teachers\' self-efficacy beliefs regarding the application of teaching methods and techniques. The study was based on survey model. The participants were the biology preservice teachers enrolled in Gazi Faculty of Education and in the program of pedagogical competency at Gazi University. The efficacy scale of Biology teaching methods and techniques, which was developed by the researchers, was used to collect data The cronbach alpha value of the scale was determined as .87 The data collected were analyzed with SPSS using t-test, and the values of frequency, mean, standard deviation were provided. The results revealed that biology preservice teachers\' self-efficacy beliefs regarding the teaching methods and techniques did differ significantly in accordance with variables such as whether there are any teachers in the family and their level of knowledge.
