Ortaöğretim Öğrencilerinin Dijital Bağımlılık Düzeyleri ve Şiddet Eğilimlerinin Belirlenmesi

Bu çalışmada ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin dijital bağımlılıkları ve şiddet eğilimleri cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, ekonomik durum, anne ve baba eğitim durumu değişkenleri açısından incelenmektedir. Araştırmada genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz döneminde Sivas ili merkez ilçede farklı eğitim bölgelerinde yer alan yedi farklı lisede öğrenim görmekte olan 428 kız, 348 erkek olmak üzere toplamda 776 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırman verileri “Dijital Bağımlılık Ölçeği” ile “Şiddet Eğilimleri Ölçeği” kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S), Aritmetik Ortalama, Standart Sapma, Bağımsız t testi, ANOVA, TUKEY, Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı kullanılmıştır. Ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin dijital bağımlılıklarının cinsiyet, ekonomik durum ve anne eğitim durumu şiddet eğilimlerinin cinsiyet, anne ve baba eğitim durumu değişkenleri açısından anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği p<.05 dijital bağımlılık ve şiddet eğilimleri korelasyon düzeylerinin pozitif yönde orta düzeyde (r=.40) olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract:

In this study, digital dependence and violent tendencies of high school students are examined in terms of gender, class level, economic status, and parents' education level. In the research, the general screening model was used. The sample group of the study consists of a total of 776 students (428 girls and 348 boys) studying in seven different high schools located in different districts of Sivas province in the fall semester of 2019-2020 academic year. The data of the study was obtained by using the Digital Dependency Scale and Violence Tendency Scale. In the analysis of the data; Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S), arithmetic mean, standard deviation, independent t test, ANOVA, TUKEY, pearson correlation coefficient were used. Digital dependence of high school students on gender, economic status and maternal education level; There was a significant difference in the tendency of violence in terms of gender, mother and father education level variables p <.05; digital dependence and violence tendency correlation levels were found to be positive (r = .40).
