Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the level of achievement of the achievements related to the "read" learning field in the second stage of primary education in the Turkish lesson curriculum. The study developed the Likert Type Reading Learning Area Scale, which consists of 32 items for the purpose of gathering data. The study’s work group consists of 191 Turkish teachers working in the center of the province of Malatya. In the analysis of data, arithmetic average and standard deviations were used. At the point of acquisition of achievements related to the "read" learning field, the Turkish Teaching Program has been determined to be effective in the general application. Teachers are advised to improve their skills with their reading-understanding speed by using methods and techniques appropriate to the level of their primary school students.
