Abstract:

Bu araştırmada öğretmen adaylarının üstbiliş farkındalıklarının cinsiyet, öğrenim görülen program, akademik başarı ve sınıf düzeyi değişkenlerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini bir devlet üniversitesinde öğrenim gören toplam 953 (682 kadın, 271 erkek) öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmen adaylarının üstbiliş farkındalıklarını belirlemek amacıyla veri toplama aracı olarak Üstbiliş Farkındalık Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Dağılımları belirlemede aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma ve değişkenlere göre oluşan farkın belirlenmesinde ise t-testi ve varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular öğretmen adaylarının üstbiliş farkındalıklarının cinsiyet açısından tüm alt boyutlarda ve sınıf düzeyi açısından ise bazı alt boyutlarda istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde farklılık göstermediğini ortaya koymuştur. Öğrenim görülen program ve akademik başarı değişkenleri açısından gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılıklar ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca öğrenim görülen program değişkeninin prosedürel bilgi ve izleme alt boyutlarında fen bilgisi öğretmenliği ile tüm programlar arasında fen bilgisi öğretmenliği aleyhine bir farklılık ortaya çıkmıştır.

Abstract:

This study has been aimed at determining whether the supernatural awareness of teachers candidates varies according to gender, study program, academic success and class level variables. The sample of the study consists of a total of 953 (682 women, 271 men) teachers candidates who study at a state university. In order to determine the superintelligence awareness of the teachers candidates involved in the study, the superintelligence awareness inventory has been used as a data collection tool. To determine the differences based on the arithmetic average, the standard deviation and the variables, the t-test and the variance analysis were used. The findings have shown that the supernova awareness of teachers' candidates does not statistically significantly differ in terms of gender in all subdimensions and in terms of class level in some subdimensions. There have been significant differences between the groups in terms of the study program and the academic success variables. There is also a difference between the teaching of science and the teaching of science and the teaching of science and the teaching of science and the teaching of science and the teaching of science and the teaching of science and the teaching of science and the teaching of science and the teaching of science and the teaching of science.

The aim of this study was determined as comparing candidate teachers’ metacognitive awareness levels according to variables of gender, academic achievement, department and class level. The sample was composed 953 (683 women, 271 men) candidate teachers who were students in a state-owned university. The data of the study were gathered with Metacognitive Awareness Inventory developed. In the direction of the research purpose arithmetic mean and standard deviation were used to determine distributions. T test and variance analysis were used to determine the difference according to variables. The study showed that there were no significant differences between candidate teachers' metacognitive awareness level according to gender and class grade. However, there were significant differences between groups according to department and academic achievement. Besides, according to department, there were significantly differences in the sub-dimensions procedural knowledge, monitoring against science teaching.
