XVII. yüzyıl mutasavvıf şairlerinden Ahmed Câhidî Efendi, Halvetî-Uşşâkî şeyhi olup Uşşâkî tarikatinin Câhidiye kolunun kurucusudur. Halk arasında Câhidî Sultan olarak tanınan şairin bir Divan’ı ile iki mensur eseri vardır. Tevhîd-i Zât ve Nasîhat-nâme adlı âdâb ve sülûka dair mensur eserleri farklı bilim dalları tarafından incelenmiş olmakla birlikte tenkitli metni ortaya konmamış, ayrıca bir dil ve edebiyat malzemesi olarak değerlendirilmemiştir. Ahmed Câhidî’nin şiir dilinde görülen Yunus etkisi onun mensur eserlerinde de dikkat çeker. Adeta XIII. yüzyıl Türkçesiyle yazılmış olan eserlerde pek çok arkaik kelime olduğu gibi mahallî söyleyişler de bulunmaktadır. Makalemizde bu iki mensur eser dil ve üslup açısından değerlendirilecektir.
