Paternalist liderlik katı disiplini, otoriter yapıyı, çalışanlara yönelik korumacı, yardımsever yaklaşımı ortaya koyan bir liderlik modelidir. Bu çalışma, lider-çalışan ilişkisinde güç-kontrol- bağlılık şeklinde yakın etkileşimi ifade eden paternalist liderlik ile işyerinde tacizkar, zorbaca ve saldırganca tutumlar olarak tanımlanan mobbing kavramı arsındaki ilişkiyi araştırmaktadır. Bu çerçevede Kocaeli’de bir kamu kurumunda alan araştırması yapılmıştır. Normallik testi sonucunda faktörler arası korelasyon analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak paternalist liderlik ile mobbing davranışları arasında negatif ve zayıf bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Paternalist leadership is a model of leadership that demonstrates a rigorous discipline, authority structure, a protective, helpful approach to employees. This study explores the relationship between paternalist leadership, which expresses a close interaction in the form of power-control-compliance in the leadership-working relationship, and the concept of harassment, which is defined as harassment, harassment and aggressive attitudes in the workplace. In this context, a study was carried out in a public institution in Kocaeli. The normality test resulted in the correlation analysis of factors. As a result, there was a negative and weak relationship between paternalist leadership and harassment behaviors.

Paternalistic leadership; is a leadership which has strict discipline, authoritarian structure, a protectionist, helpful approach to employees. This study investigates the relationship between paternalistic leadership expressing close interaction in the form of power-control-commitment in the leader-employee relationship and the concept of mobbing, which is defined as harassment, bullying and aggressive attitudes in the workplace. A field research was conducted in a public institution in Kocaeli within this framework. Correlation analysis was performed between factors as a result of normality test. As a result, it was found that there was a negative and weak relationship between paternalistic leadership and mobbing behavior.
