Abstract:

Abstract Throughout history, literary works and other works of art have been one of the most effective tools used to convey and disseminate an idea or worldview to the masses. Messages belonging to any religion or movement of thought aiming at individual and social change were also conveyed through literary works. In this direction, it is possible to see the reflections of the authors' own beliefs and ideologies/worldviews in literary works. In many literary works for children; it is seen that messages belonging to a certain educational understanding, religious or political content are conveyed from a didactic point of view. When it comes to books written for children; The effort to transfer religious, political and cultural content can be seen both in the examples in the West and in the examples in Turkey. This issue is one of the important issues discussed in children's literature criticism studies. In this study, the reflections of messages and content of different worldviews on children's books in different ways, especially in children's literature studies in Turkey, were examined. Considering that all works for children are written by adults, it is possible to say that the author's own perspective on any subject is somehow reflected in these works. Therefore, in critical studies on children's literature on this subject, without categorical discrimination as political, religious or cultural content; Evaluations should be made whether the transferred content and the way this content is conveyed are suitable for children's literature approaches and literary/aesthetic criteria.
