So many results that aren't mine?

EĞİTSEL OYUNLARLA FEN DERSİNE “VAR MISIN YOK MUSUN”?

Bu çalışma, 5. sınıf Fen Bilimleri dersi Maddenin Değişimi ünitesinin eğitsel oyunlarla desteklenerek işlenmesinin öğrenci başarısı üzerine olan etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında bir devlet okulunda toplam 120 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uygulama altı hafta sürmüş olup öğretim programına ek olarak deney grubunda üç ayrı oyun kullanılmıştır. Deney grubunda Fen Bilimleri dersindeki Maddenin Değişimi ünitesindeki etkinlikler eğitsel oyunlarla desteklenerek verilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak akademik başarı testi kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca uygulama sonrasında deney grubundan 20 öğrenci ile görüşme yapılmıştır. Akademik başarı testi SPSS 16.00 programı ile değerlendirilirken yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler ile toplanan veriler betimsel analiz ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonrasında verilerin analizi ile deney ve kontrol gruplarının Fen Bilimleri dersi başarısına yönelik deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Görüşmeler sonucunda ise eğitsel oyunlarla desteklenmiş öğretim yönteminin öğrencilerde Fen Bilimleri dersine yönelik ilgilerinde artış olduğu gözlenmiştir.

“there Are or Not” At Science Course With Instructional Games

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a science course taught by using instructional games on 5th grade pupils’ achievement. The study was conducted in 2016- 2017 school year with 120 pupils. The study was conducted in the unit of “Change of Matter” 5th  grade secondary school science course and instruction lasted 6 weeks in total. During six weeks, while Change of Matter unit was taught by instructional games in experimental group. In the study, “Academic Achievement Test” has been used and data obtained via the instrument were analysed with SPSS 16.0 program. In the analysis of semi-structured interviews and descriptive analyzes were made by posting collected data. After the research, data analysis showed that there was a significant difference in favor of experimental group for experiment and control groups' achievement of science class. As a result of the interviews, it was observed that the teaching method supported by instructional games increased in the pupils' interest in science courses.
