Bu araştırmanın amacı, değerler eğitimi bağlamında ilkokul öğretim programlarını incelemektir. Bu amaçtan hareketle araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması modeli tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmanın veri kaynakları, amaçlı örneklem yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın 2018 yılı nda resmi web sayfasında yayınlanmış olan ilkokul öğretim programları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada online platformlardan temin edilen ilkokul öğretim programlarındaki veriler, araştırmanın amaçları bağlamında betimsel ve içerik analiz tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Genel anlamda araştırma sonuçlarına bakıldığında saygı, sorumluluk, bilimsellik ve duyarlılık değerlerinin diğer değerlere kıyasla ilkokul öğretim programlarında daha fazla yer aldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bunun yanında, ilkokul öğretim programları içerisinde, en fazla değere yer veren programın Hayat Bilgisi öğretim programı olduğu, bunu sırasıyla Türkçe, İnsan Hakları Yurttaşlık ve Demokrasi ve Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programlarının izlediği görülmüştür. Ayrıca araştırma kapsamında dikkat çekici sonuçlardan biri de Matametik ve Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi öğretim programlarında görülmektedir. Bu bağlamda her iki programa da bakıldığında diğer öğretim programlarına oranla değerlere çok az yer verildiği sonucunun ortaya çıktğı belirlenmiştir. Nitekim Matematik öğretim programında toplam bir, Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi öğretim programında ise üç değere yer verilmiştir. İlkokul programları özelinde dikat çeken bazı sonuçlara bakıldığında ise Türkçe öğretim programında en fazla saygı değerine en az ise estetik değerine yer verildiği görülmüştür. Hayat Bilgisi öğretim programında dikkat çekici bir şekilde duyarlılık değerine çok fazla yer verilirken çalışkanlık, öz denetim, dostluk, sabır, paylaşma ve adalet gibi değerlere birer defa yer verildiği ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bunların yanı sıra Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programında duyarlılık değerinin, Fen Bilgisi öğretim programında bilimsellik değerinin, İnsan Hakları, Yurttaşlık ve Demokrasi Dersi Öğretim Programında sorumluluk değerinin diğer değerlere kıyasla daha fazla yer aldığı görülmektedir.
The aim of this study is to examine primary school curricula in the context of values education. Based on this purpose, the case study model, one of the qualitative research methods, was preferred in the research. The data sources of the research are the primary school curricula published on the official website of the Ministry of National Education in 2018, which were determined by criterion sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling methods. The data in the primary school curricula obtained from online platforms were analyzed with descriptive and content analysis techniques in the context of the research objectives. When the results of the research are examined in general terms, it is concluded that the values of respect, responsibility, scientificity and sensitivity are included more in primary school curricula compared to other values. In addition, it was observed that the program that included the most values in primary school curricula was the Life Sciences curriculum, followed by Turkish, Human Rights, Citizenship and Democracy, and Social Studies curricula, respectively. In addition, one of the remarkable results within the scope of the research is seen in the Mathematics and Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge curricula. In this context, when both curricula are examined, it is determined that values are given very little place compared to other curricula. As a matter of fact, a total of one value was included in the Mathematics curriculum and three values were included in the Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge curriculum. Looking at some striking results specific to primary school programs, it was seen that the Turkish curriculum included the value of respect the most and the value of aesthetics the least. In the Life Science curriculum, sensitivity value is given a lot of space, while values such as diligence, self-control, friendship, patience, patience, sharing and justice are given space only once. In addition, the Social Studies curriculum includes the value of sensitivity, the Science curriculum includes the value of scientificity, and the Human Rights, Citizenship and Democracy Curriculum includes the value of responsibility more than other values.
