Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the qualifications that school managers possess by the opinions of teachers. The sample of the work created using the random group sampling model, in the 2017-2018 educational year, is made up of 34 teachers who work in primary schools located in the central district of Elazığ. Three open end questions prepared to collect data were asked to the teachers to receive their opinions. In the analysis of the obtained data, the quality research in the analysis of the facts the scientific design applied the similarities of the statements grouped by the themes created. The teachers’ opinions that attract attention in each subject are reflected directly by quotes. According to the results obtained from the opinions of teachers, teachers have compared school managers to the most computing and engineering, the most knowledgeable in terms of conceptual qualifications, the most tolerant in terms of human qualifications, the most mother, father and Mevlana. According to the research, managers should show a comprehensive leadership instead of being only product-oriented or employee-oriented. School managers need to develop themselves. Interested persons should organize administrative training programs with service or pre-service training.
