Betimsel tarama modelinde tasarlanan bu araştırmanın amacı; öğretmenlerin okul müdürlerinin denetim görevlerini yerine getirme düzeyleri konusundaki görüşlerini cinsiyetlerine, öğrenim durumlarına, okul türlerine ve hizmet sürelerine göre incelemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında Siirt ili merkez ve merkeze bağlı ilçe, belde ve köylerde bulunan resmi ilkokul, ortaokul ve ortaöğretim (lise) kurumlarında görev yapan 4589 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini basit seçkisiz (random) örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen 1783 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Okul Müdürlerinin Denetim Görevini Yerine Getirme Düzeylerini Belirleme Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya göre okul müdürleri denetim görevlerini “orta” düzeyde yerine getirmektedir. Araştırmada okul müdürlerinin en çok “fiziki mekanları”; en az ise “eğitim-öğretime” ilişkin faaliyetleri denetledikleri tespit edilmiştir. Okul müdürlerinin denetim görevlerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri arasında cinsiyete, öğrenim durumuna, okul türüne ve öğretmenlerin hizmet süresine göre anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu saptanmıştır. Okul müdürlerinin eğitim-öğretim odaklı denetim görevleri konusunda yetiştirilmeleri gerektiği önerisinde bulunulmuştur
The purpose of this study, designed in the visual scan model, is to examine the views of teachers on the levels of school managers performing their supervisory duties according to their gender, educational conditions, school types and service times. The universe of research is composed of 4589 teachers who work in the official primary, secondary and secondary education (secondary) institutions located in the district, town and village associated with Siirt's center and center in the 2017-2018 educational year. The sampling of the study is made by 1783 teachers, determined by the simple random sampling method. In the study, the data collection tool was used as "the scale of determining the levels of meeting the audit task of the school directors". According to the research, school managers perform their supervisory tasks at "mediate" level. The study found that school managers were most "physical spaces"; at least they were monitoring activities related to "education-education". The teachers’ opinions on the supervisory duties of the school managers have been found to have significant differences according to gender, educational status, school type and teachers’ duration of service. School managers are advised to be trained on educational-learning-oriented audit tasks
The aim of this research designed in descriptive survey model; was to examine teachers' opinions on the school principals’ fulfilling their supervision tasks according to gender, educational status, school types and service duration variables. The population of the research was composed of 4589 teachers working in the official primary, secondary and secondary schools of the Ministry of National Education in the districts, towns and villages of Siirt province in 2017-2018 academic year. 1783 teachers who were selected by random sampling method participated in the study. In the study, the scale entitled as “Determination of the Levels of School Principals' Performance in Audit Tasks” developed by Gündüz (2017) was used as data collection tool. According to the study, it was concluded that school principals performed their supervisiontasks at “intermediate” level. Besides, it was found that there were significant differences between the opinions of teachers about the supervision tasks of the principals according to gender, educational background, type of school and service duration of teachers
