Ergenlerde Kimlik Gelişimi, Başarı Amaç Yönelimi ve Bilişsel Karmaşıklık Arasındaki Yordayıcı İlişkilerin İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu araştırma ergenlerin kimlik gelişimi, başarı amaç yönelimi ve bilişsel karmaşıklık arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Tekirdağ ilinde öğrenim gören 258’i (%45.8) kız, 305 i (%54.2) si erkek öğrenciden oluşan toplam 563 lise öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma ile ilgili veriler “Kimlik Gelişiminin Boyutları Ölçeği” (KGBÖ), “ Başarı Amaç Yönelimleri Ölçeği” (BAYÖ) ve “Bilişsel Karmaşıklık Ölçeği”(BKÖ) ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre; ergenlerin kimlik gelişimi ile öğrenme amaç yönelimi arasında pozitif yönlü, kimlik gelişimi ile performans amaç yönelimi arasında negatif yönlü doğrusal bir ilişki olduğu görülmektedir. Ergenlerin kimlik gelişimi ile bilişsel karmaşıklık arasındaki yordayıcı ilişkiler incelendiğinde ise, negatif yönlü doğrusal bir ilişki olduğu görülmektedir. Ergenlerin öğrenme amaç yönelimi ile bilişsel karmaşıklık arasındaki yordayıcı ilişkiler incelendiğinde de, negatif yönlü doğrusal bir ilişki olduğu görülmektedir. Ergenlerin performans amaç yönelimi ile bilişsel karmaşıklık arasındaki yordayıcı ilişkiler incelendiğinde de, pozitif yönlü doğrusal bir ilişki olduğu görülmektedir.

Abstract:

This study was conducted with the aim of studying the relationship between adolescent identity development, success goal orientation and cognitive complexity. The study group consists of a total of 258 (45.8%) girls and 305 (54.2%) male students who studied in Tekirdağ province. The data related to the study were collected with the "Dimensional Scale of Identity Development" (KGBÖ), the "Dimensional Scale of Success Goals" (BAYÖ) and the "Cognitive Complexity Scale" (BKÖ). According to the findings from the research, there is a positive linear relationship between the development of identity and the learning goal of adolescents, the development of identity and the performance goal of adolescents. When researched the distinctive relationships between adolescent identity development and cognitive complexity, it appears that there is a negative linear relationship. Even when studies the distinctive relationships between the learning objective direction and cognitive complexity of adolescents, it appears that there is a negative linear relationship. When the adult’s performance target orientation and cognitive complexity are studied, there is a positive linear relationship.

The study group consists of 563 high school students studying in Tekirdağ, of which 258 (45.8%) are female and 305 (54.2%) are male. The data related to the research have been collected using the Identity Development Dimensions Scale, Achievement Goal Orientation Scale, and Cognitive Complexity Scale. According to the findings obtained from the research, a positive linear relationship is observed to exist between adolescents' identity development and the sub-dimension of learning goals orientation and a negative linear relationship to exist between identity development and the sub-dimension of performance goals orientation. When examining the predictive relationships between adolescent identity development and cognitive complexity, they are seen to have a negative linear relationship. When examining the predictive relationships between adolescents’ learning goals orientation and cognitive complexity, they are seen to have a negative linear relationship. When examining the predictive relationships between adolescents' performance goals orientation and cognitive complexity, they are seen to have a positive linear relationship.
