Abstract:

This research was carried out with the aim of determining the relationship between teachers' perceptions of organizational synergies in schools and leadership levels. The research universe "2021-2022 educational year forms 2798 teachers who work in schools in the Uşak province, and their sampling is easily accessible through sampling 310 teachers. The data in the study was collected with the "Organization Synergy Scale" and the "Teacher Leadership Scale". According to the results of the study, teachers have a high perception of the level of organizational synergies within the school. - Teachers' perceptions of organizational synergies vary according to school level, and high school teachers' perceptions of organizational synergies are lower than teachers working at primary and secondary school levels. Again, the perceptions of organizational synergies of teachers with pre-graduate and undergraduate education are higher than teachers with undergraduate education. Teachers' perceptions of organizational synergies in the school are not different in terms of other variables. Research shows that teachers have a high perception of the leadership role in the school. Teachers' perceptions of the leadership role include gender, senior year, graduation status, the number of teachers in the school in which they work and the approximately time of work in the same school, not varying according to their variables. According to school level, high school teachers’ perception of the leadership role is lower than teachers who work at the primary school level. The study finds meaningful, positive and high-level relationships between teachers’ organizational synergy perceptions in the school and leadership levels, and organizational synergy perceptions in the school treat leadership levels in a meaningful way. In order to increase the level of synergy in schools, teachers should be encouraged to teamwork, and activities for interacting with them may be recommended.
