Abstract:

This study was carried out with the aim of researching the impact of the science laboratory applications supported by Predictive Meat-Over-Open (TGA), enriched by discussions on the academic achievements of teachers candidates. In the framework of this objective, the basic concepts of science have been discussed in the study. In this study, which used the semi-experimental pattern, a total of 46 science teachers candidates were selected as sample. The study used two randomly selected groups, one experiment (n = 22) and one control (n = 24). Tests related to the basic concepts of science to the researchers in the control group are conducted in the form of laboratory studies of verification, while the researchers in the experiment group are conducted in the form of TGA-backed laboratory studies enriched by discussions, i.e. the way used in this study is predicted with et-open-observed-open-open (TAGTaA). Experimental studies in both groups progressed in the form of a total of 18 hours of laboratory studies, total of 9 weeks and 2 hours a week. In order to determine the impact of the laboratory work done by teachers candidates on their academic achievements, an academic success test consisting of 40 subjects has been applied to the sample group as a pre- and final test. The data obtained from the test was analyzed with the help of independent group t-test and ANCOVA test depending on the SPSS package program. At the end of the quantitative analysis of the data obtained by the pre- and final test, TAGTaA-backed laboratory studies have shown that teachers candidates who follow the laboratory approach of verification are more effective in improving their academic achievements. In order to effectively bring the laboratories that have an important place in the field of science education, it is recommended to use the science laboratory work supported by TAGTaA.
