Abstract:

After the end of the First World War, the Ottoman State signed the Mondros Cessation Treaty and was separated from the war as a defeat. With the entry into force of the treaty, the entire territory of Anatolia, except the internal parts of Anatolia, began to be occupied by the Opposition States. The Armenians and Romanians in Anadolu, who see this as an opportunity, have organized themselves in various forms, with the idea of establishing an independent state, both in the rebellion movements against the Ottoman State and in the massacres against the Turkish people they have lived in peace for centuries. The Ottoman State, which is in difficult situation in the face of these events, has also wanted to prevent these rebellions and massacres by emigrating those involved in the events to different regions of the country. In this article, the archive documents were also based on the First World War and the terror events that occurred after it, especially in the Bursa and its surroundings, and the measures and consequences taken by the Ottoman State against it.
