Abstract:

Salivary gland tumors of the oral cavity originating from minor salivary glands are rare. Swelling of the oral mucosa should include pleomorphic adenoma in differential diagnosis. In children sweling of the oral cavity are usually abscess, mucosal cysts and salivary gland tumors. Here in our case an 8 eight year old girl with a swelling of the hard palate is diagnosed as pleomorphic adenoma. Here we aimed to remind the differential diagnosis, diagnosis and treatment of the palatal pleomorphic adenoma with a literature review
