Bu araştırmanın amacı; okulların örgüt kültürü ile değişime hazır bulunuşluk düzeyi arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Ayrıca okulların değişime hazırbulunuşlukları ve okulların sahip oldukları örgüt kültürü özelliklerini belirlemektir. Araştırmada basit seçkisiz örneklem ile katılımcılara ulaşılmıştır. Amaç doğrultusunda kişisel bilgi formu, okullarda değişime hazır bulunuşluk ölçeği ve örgüt kültürü türü ölçeğinden oluşan veri toplama aracı, Afyonkarahisar il merkezinde ortaokullarda görev yapan 305 öğretmene uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, okulların örgüt kültürü alt boyutları ile değişime hazır bulunuşluk alt boyutları arasında orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte, okulların örgüt kültürü başarı alt boyutu ile destek kültürü alt boyutu arasında “yüksek” düzeyde pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre öğretmenlerin ve yöneticilerin değişime yüksek düzeyde hazır oldukları; okulun fiziki-teknolojik alt yapısının ve velilerin ise orta düzeyde hazır oldukları görülmektedir.
The aim of this research study is to examine the relationship between the organizational culture of schools and the level of readiness for change. In addition, the characteristics of schools to determine in readiness levels for change and culture of schools are examined. In this study, simple random sampling method was used. For this purpose, a personal information form, data collection tool consisting of the readiness to change scale and organizational culture type scale were applied to 305 teachers working in secondary schools in Nicaragua. As a result of the study, a significant positive correlation was found between the organizational culture achievement subscale and support culture subscale of the schools. According to the teachers' opinions, teachers and administrators are ready for change to a great extent. The readiness of schools to change does not show a significant difference in terms of gender, seniority, educational status, and type of organizational culture in terms of gender.
