Bu çalışmanın amacı güreş antrenörlerinin iletişim becerilerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Trabzon ilinde yapılan güreş antrenörleri gelişim seminerine katılan antrenörlerden veri toplamak amacıyla Kabadayı (2010) tarafından geliştirilen 50 soruluk İletişim Becerileri Envanterinden esinlenerek 22 soruluk ölçek antrenörlere uygulanmış ve geçerlilik ve güvenirliliği yapılarak Cronbach alpha güvenirlik analizi ,904 bulunmuştur. Araştırmaya 19 kadın ve 99 erkek olmak üzere toplam 118 güreş antrenörü katılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 24 programı kullanılmış ve toplanan verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel istatistik teknikleri (frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma) uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada antrenörlerin yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim düzeyi, antrenör kademesi, antrenörlük yapma süreleri, çalışma statülerini kapsayan demografik özellikler belirlenmiştir. Antrenörlerin iletişim becerilerini değerlendirilmesinin alt boyutlarında en düşük ortalama değer sözlü iletişim becerisi (X=3,95) en yüksek ortalama değer ise dinleme becerisi (X=4,28) olarak tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre antrenörlerin sporcularını sözlü iletişim sorunlarıyla ilgilenme konusunda daha duyarlı davranmaları ve kendilerini bu konuda geliştirmeleri gerekliliği söylenebilir.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the communication skills of the competition coaches. With the aim of collecting data from the coaches participating in the competition training seminar in the province of Trabzon, the 50 question communication skills inventory developed by Kabadayı (2010) was inspired by the 22 question scale coaches and validity and reliability made by Cronbach alpha reliability analysis ,904 found. A total of 118 racing coaches, including 19 women and 99 men, participated in the study. In the analysis of data, the SPSS 24 program was used and in the analysis of collected data, visual statistical techniques (frequency, percentage, arithmetic average, standard deviation) were applied. The study identified the demographic characteristics of the coach’s age, gender, training level, trainer’s degree, training time, work status. The low average value of the evaluation of the communication skills of the coach is identified as the low average value of the evaluation of the communication skills of the coach; the high average value of the oral communication skills (X=3,95) is identified as the hearing skills (X=4,28) and the high average value of the oral communication skills (X=3,95) is identified as the low average value of the communication skills of the coach. According to the results obtained, it can be said that the coaches need to behave more sensitive to the concern of oral communication problems and improve themselves in this regard.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the communication skills of wrestling coaches. In order to collect data from the trainers participating in the development seminar in the province of Trabzon, a questionnaire of 22 questions inspired by the 50-item Communication Skills Inventory developed by Kabadayı (2010) was used and a Cronbach alpha reliability analysis of 904 values was found by conducting Validity and Reliability. Descriptive statistical techniques (frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation) were applied in the analysis of the collected data. Age, gender, education level, level of education of the coaches demographic characteristics including training, duration, coaching period, and working status were determined. The lowest mean value of the subcontractors' (X = 3,95), and the highest mean value was verbal communication skills (X = 4,28). According to the results, it is necessary that the coaches should be more sensitive to listen to their athletes and deal with their problems and to develop themselves in this respect.
