Abstract:

This study aims to explore the impact of swimming coaches on their communication skills, socialization and performance. The research has collected data from the swimming coaches in the province of Elazığ. The study is an illustrative and comparative study aimed at statistically determining the differences in perception variables towards the communication skills of the 39 men and 11 female coach in the swimming industry. Coaches have been applied the Communication Skills Assessment Scale and Personal Information Form, and five variable results of the 25 item measurement tool have been obtained. The findings have shown that the scale is internal consistent, the same scale is valid and in a five-factor structure. As a result, it has shown that the ICDO can determine swimming coach communication skills. The findings of the coach's IBs were first presented in visual statistics and then the results for the determination of the average score difference of the groups were presented by man witney u, cross-wallis statistical analysis methods. In statistical analysis, the significance level is selected as p<.05 .
