Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to see the existence of the phrase in the lessons used in Turkish teaching to foreigners and to evaluate the teaching materials by determining the phrase that students will be exposed to in their daily lives in the target language. The comparison of the lesson books discussed within the three set of publications in terms of expression; the most efficient and effective set of publications that performs the expression teaching will be a guide in terms of the revelation of the set of publications. The data source of the study is fourteen curriculum books that make up the Seven Climate, New Hit, Turkish teaching sets for Aliens in Gazi, prepared for Turkish teaching to foreigners. Seven Climate A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2, New Hits 1 (A1-A2), 2 (B1), 3 (B2-C1), Turkish Foreigners A1-A2-B1-B2-C1 curriculum books in texts and out of texts have been analyzed by the method of document study. Discovered statements are classified according to the criteria in Akpınar's (2010) study. Thus, the terms that are intended to be translated to the student with the curriculum books used in the teaching of the main language and were determined and evaluated by comparing the three set of teaching of different publications. As a result, the broadcast set with the most word included was Seven Climate Foreigners for Turkish while the Gazi Foreigners for Turkish and New Hit series followed. The highest levels in which the term is included; Seven Climate set C2, Gazi Foreigners in Turkish B2, New Hit set B2-C1 is determined. Three of these sets are considered as a result of the evaluation of both quantity and quality.
