Abstract:

This study aims to reveal the relationship between the level of application of universal values of school managers in school management and the level of organizational confidence of teachers. The research is designed in the relational scan model. The universe of research is formed by high school teachers who work in state schools associated with the province of Kahramanmaraş and the province of Onikişubat and Dulkadiroğlu. The sampling of the study is made up of 231 people selected using the easy-to-accessful unselective sampling method from this universe. The study used the "Organized Trust Scale in Schools" developed by Yılmaz (2005) and the "Universal Values Scale in School Management" developed by Sağır (2014). The research data collection tools were applied to teachers and then the data was transferred to the computer environment and statistical analyses were carried out. The analysis of the research data used independent groups t-test, one-way variance analysis (ANOVA), LSD significance test, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis. Based on the findings obtained towards the level of application of universal values of school managers, it is clear that the level of application of universal values of school managers in school management is above the average. The study also found that teachers who appealed to their opinions had a high level of organizational confidence. The research has found that the relationship between school managers’ universal values in school management and teachers’ organizational level of confidence is very high. According to this, the level of implementation of the universal values of the school managers will increase the organizational trust perceptions of the teachers, the level of implementation of the universal values of the school managers will decrease the organizational trust perceptions of the teachers.
