Abstract:

Although the Hisar area was known as an important settlement in the past periods, it has been greatly destroyed due to its years of exposure to structuring. In different periods of time, the excavations were carried out by the Bursa Archaeological Museum Directorate and some archaeological findings were identified. But for the first time within this scope in 2015 with the support of the Municipality of Bursa Osmangazi in the region, the head of the Bursa Museum Directorate, with the contribution of the University of Uludağ, the Department of Archaeology, systemic field excavations were carried out. In the mining studies, from the Early Hellenistic period to the Late Ottoman period, large amounts of ceramics, rubber, silk, glass, bone, bronze and iron were found. It contains tables/cases of the Classical and Hellenistic periods, daily use containers, Kos Amphorates that may belong to the Hellenistic period, candles, cooked soil figures, weight and weights, etc. It is a buluntu group. In this article, the ceramic findings found in the Hisarkeopark caves are studied according to levels.
