Sınav Kaygısını Azaltmaya Yönelik Bilişsel-davranışçı Yaklaşıma Dayalı Grup Rehberliği Programının Etkisinin İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Bilişsel-Davranışçı Terapiye dayalı grup rehberliği programının, sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerinin sınav kaygısı üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmada ön test son test kontrol gruplu seçkisiz desen kullanılmıştır. Kaygı düzeylerini ölçmek için veri toplama aracı olarak Sınav Kaygısı Envanteri kullanılmıştır Araştırmanın çalışma grubu toplam 24 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Öğrencilerden 12’si deney grubuna, 12 si ise kontrol grubuna Sınav Kaygısı Envanteri’nden aldıkları puanlar doğrultusunda yansız olarak atanmışlardır. Deney grubuna Bilişsel-Davranışçı terapiye dayalı grup rehberliği programı uygulanırken, kontrol grubu hiç bir programa katılmamıştır. Sonuçlara göre, Bilişsel Davranışçı Terapiye dayalı grup rehberliği programı öğrencilerin sınav kaygısı düzeylerini azaltmada etkili olup, dahası bu etki bir ve üç aylık izleme dönemi sonunda da devam etmiştir.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the impact of the group guidance program based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy on the exam anxiety of eighth-class students. In the study, the pre-test last test control group used an unselective pattern. The study’s work group consists of a total of 24 students that have been used as a data collection tool to measure the level of anxiety. 12 of the students were assigned to the experimental group and 12 to the control group in accordance with the scores they received from the Exam Anxiety Inventory. While the experimental group applies a group guidance program based on cognitive-behavioral therapy, the control group has not participated in any program. According to the results, the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-based group guidance program has been effective in reducing students’ exam anxiety levels, and this effect has continued at the end of a one and three-month monitoring period.
