Abstract:

In this study, a significant part of their lives in the workplace was sought to explore the relationship between employment and life satisfactions of employees. An analytical survey was conducted on 131 employees working in a public institution. The data required for the research was collected using the survey technique. The prepared survey form included questions about the demographic characteristics of the participants and the job and life satisfaction. The business satisfaction of participants was measured by the one-dimensional "Business Satisfaction Index" developed by Brayfield and Rothe (1951) . The life satisfaction of the participants was measured by the one-dimensional "Life Doyum Scale" developed by Diener and his friends (1985) . The study used correlation and regression analysis as a method of analysis with identifying statistics. The regression analysis found that work satisfaction has a significant impact on life satisfaction.
