Bu çalışmada Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi Müzik Bölümü’nde okuyan öğrencilerin piyano dersine yönelik tutumlarının piyano dersi başarıları ile karşılaştırılarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İstanbul’da bulunan 4 farklı Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi müzik bölümü öğrencilerinden toplam 389 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak Bakıoğlu (2012) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan “Piyano Dersi Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Ölçekle elde edilen veriler cinsiyet, sınıf, okul ve lise eğitimine başlamadan önce piyano eğitimi alıp almadığı gibi değişkenler yardımıyla da incelenmiştir. Bunlara ilaveten tutum ölçeği uygulanan öğrencilerin 2018-2019 yılı piyano dersi notları da ilgili okullardan elde edilerek kayıt altına alınmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda öğrencilerin tutumları ile piyano dersi başarıları arasında pozitif yönlü ve orta düzeyli bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Bu durum tutum ve başarının birbirinden orta düzeyde etkilendiği biçiminde yorumlanmıştır. Diğer yandan tutum puanlarının çeşitli değişkenlere göre karşılaştırılmasında ise sınıf düzeyi ve öğrenim görülen okul düzeyinde anlamlı fark bulunmamıştır. Cinsiyet, piyano başarı düzeyi ve önceden piyano çalma gibi değişkenlerde ise anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Bu basamaklarda da kız öğrencilerin, daha önceden piyano eğitimi almış olanların ve not ortalaması yüksek olanların tutum puanları yönünde anlamlı fark görülmüştür.
This study aims to compare the attitudes of students studying at the Music Department of the High School of Fine Arts to the piano class by comparing the achievements of the piano class. The study’s work group consists of a total of 389 students from 4 different School of Fine Arts music departments located in Istanbul. The study used the "Piano lesson attitude scale" which was developed by Bakoğlu (2012) as a data collection tool. The data obtained by scale was also studied with the help of variables, such as whether or not they took piano training before starting gender, classroom, school and high school education. In addition to these, the students who apply the attitude scale 2018-2019 piano lesson notes have also been recorded by obtaining from the relevant schools. The results of the evaluations found a positive and middle-level relationship between the students’ attitudes and the achievements of the piano lesson. This situation is interpreted in the way that attitude and success are influenced by each other at a medium level. On the other hand, in comparison of attitude points according to various variables, there was no significant difference in class level and school level. The variables such as gender, the level of success of the piano and the pre-play of the piano have found significant differences. In these stages, there was also a significant difference in the attitude points of girls students, those who have previously studied piano, and those who have a high average score.
