Şark kültürünün etkisinin ve izlerinin görüldüğü Klasik Türk Edebiyatı dönemi eserleri başlangıcından itibaren araştırmacıların ilgisini çekmiş; dönemin sosyal ve kültürel hayatının izlerini taşıyan bu eserler, dil bilim ve edebiyat araştırmacıları için geniş ve zengin bir araştırma sahası olmuştur. Bu eserlerde yer alan Eski Anadolu Türkçesine ait olan ve eskicil olarak adlandırılan bu sözcükler, söz varlığını oluşturan sözcüklerin etimolojik yapısının incelenmesi bakımından dil araştırmacılarının incelemeye değer buldukları konular arasında yer almıştır. Klasik Türk edebiyatı döneminde birçok örneği görülen Pendnâme tercümeleri, edebî özellikleri açısından olduğu kadar kullanılan söz varlığı ve dil özellikleri bakımından da araştırmacıların dikkatini çeken ve incelemeye esas olan eserler arasında yer almıştır. Attar’ın manzum tercümelerinden biri olan Âlî’nin Tercüme-i Manzume-i Attar adlı Pendnâme tercümesi de bu çalışmamızda söz varlığı açısından incelenecek; özellikle, eserde yer alan Eski Anadolu Türkçesine ait sözcükler üzerinde durularak metindeki eskicil kelime ve ekler ele alınacaktır.
Classical Turkish Literature, where the influence and traces of the music culture are seen, has attracted the interest of researchers from the beginning; these works carrying the traces of the social and cultural life of the period have become a wide and rich field of research for language sciences and literature researchers. These words, which belong to the ancient Anadolu Turkish in these works and are called the ancient, are among the topics that language researchers find worth examining in terms of the etymological structure of the words that make up the existence of the word. Pendnâme translations, many examples seen in the period of classical Turkish literature, were among the works that attracted the attention of the researchers and based on the study in terms of literary characteristics as well as in terms of the word existence and language characteristics. The translation of Alî’s Translation-i Manzume-i Attar will also be examined in this work in terms of the existence of the word; in particular, the words of the Old Anadolu Turkish in the work will be discussed by the ancient words and additions in the text.
