Abstract:

There are a lot of landscapes in our country that are under the earthquake. The Bingöl geography, which is located at the intersection point of the Northern Anadolu Fai and Eastern Anadolu Fai, is one of the centers where many earthquakes have occurred in the last century. As a result of the massive earthquakes, many people have been killed. At the same time, the psychosocial and socio-economic consequences of the earthquakes have brought many negative consequences. The 1949 Karlıova, 1971 and 2003 Bingöl earthquakes are one of the earthquakes that greatly affected the local population. These severe earthquakes, with severe levels of violence, resulted in severe destruction in the area, along with the loss of lives. The building material and the form of discharge of the houses have also been shown to produce consequences in the direction of the loss of lives and damage that occur. Some of them were affected by earthquakes. For example, the 1966 Varto earthquake was considered a trembling in this quality. Since the 1930s, the earthquakes that occurred in Bingöl, causing material and spiritual damage, the sources of the time and the works related to the subject were presented to the reader's reception.
