Bu çalışmanın amacı okul öncesi dönem çocuklarını hedef alan Pisi çizgi filminin, içerdiği değerler açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi yöntemine uygun yürütülmüştür. Çalışma kapsamında Pisi çizgi filminin araştırmanın yürütüldüğü tarihe kadar yayınlanan tüm bölümleri 52 bölüm izlenerek içerik analizi yöntemi ile değerler açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırmada Pisi çizgi filminin içeriği MEB tarafından belirlenen on kök değer ile 2013 okul öncesi eğitim programının içerdiği değerler birleştirilerek belirlenen on beş değer kapsamında incelenmiştir. Bu değerler yardımseverlik, sorumluluk, hoşgörü, dürüstlük, saygı, sevgi, güven, dostluk, eşitlik, adalet, özgürlük, özdenetim, vatanseverlik, sabır ve dayanışmadır. Değerlerin çizgi filmde yer alma durumlarına ilişkin içerik analizi sonucunda elde edilen bulgular frekans değerleri şeklinde özetlenerek tablolaştırılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra rastlanan her bir değer çizgi filmin ilgili kısımlarından yapılan doğrudan alıntılarla desteklenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Pisi çizgi filminin bu çalışma kapsamında incelenen 52 bölümünde toplam 236 kez değerlerle ilgili ifade saptanmıştır. Çizgi filmde en çok yer verilen değerlerin yardımseverlik ve sevgi değerleri olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca vatanseverlik değerine hiç yer verilmediği, en az yer verilen değerin ise adalet olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The aim of this study is to examine the cartoon of Pisi, which targets preschool children, in terms of the values it contains. The research was carried out in accordance with the document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Within the scope of the study, all the episodes 52 episodes of the Pisi cartoon published until the date of the research were monitored and analyzed in terms of values with the content analysis method. In the research, the content of the Pisi cartoon was analyzed within the scope of fifteen values determined by combining the ten root values determined by MEB and the values included in the 2013 preschool education program. These values are helpfulnes, responsibility, tolerance, honesty, respect, love, trust, friendship, equality, justice, freedom, self-control, patriotism, patience and solidarity. The findings obtained as a result of the content analysis regarding the status of the values in the cartoon are summarized as frequency values and tabulated. In addition, each value encountered was supported by direct quotations from the relevant parts of the cartoon. As a result of the research, a total of 236 times related expressions were found in 52 sections of the Pisi cartoon. It was seen that the values most frequently included in the cartoon were the values of helpfulness and love. In addition, it was determined that the value of patriotism was never given, and the least value was justice.
