Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to see the term teaching in the curricula used in Turkish teaching to foreigners and to determine how much the term is given to the concepts that will be exposed to in the target language in their daily lives. The comparison of the curriculum books discussed within the three set of publications in terms of terms will be a guide in terms of the establishment of the publication set that performs the most efficient and effective term teaching. The data source of the study is fourteen curriculum books that make up the Seven Climate, New Hit, Turkish teaching sets for Aliens in Gazi, prepared for Turkish teaching to foreigners. Seven Climate A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2, New Hits 1 (A1-A2), 2 (B1), 3 (B2-C1), Turkish Foreigners A1-A2-B1-B2-C1 curriculum books in texts and out of texts are analyzed by the method of document study. The terms obtained are classified according to the fields of expertise. Thus, the terms that are intended to be transmitted to the student with the curriculum books used in the teaching of the main language and used in the teaching of the general language have been determined and evaluated by comparing the three curriculum sets of different publications. As a result, the broadcast set with the most terms is Seven Climate Foreigners for Turkey. The highest levels in which the term is included are set as C2 in the Seven Climate Set, B1 in the New Hit Set, C1 in the Turkish for Gazi Foreigners. These three sets are considered in the context of terms as a result of the differences in both quantity and quality.
