Allah algısı, çocukluk döneminde oluşmaya başlayan ve zamanla bireyin bütün hayatına etki edebilen oldukça önemli bir algı türüdür. Bu anlamda çocukluk döneminde Allah algısı ile ilgili verilen her türlü eğitim ve öğretim yaşantısı önem kazanmaktadır. Bununla birlikte Allah algısının Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi (DKAB) ders programlarında ve kitaplarında nasıl oluşturulduğuna dair ayrıntılı çalışmalara henüz rastlanmamaktadır. Araştırma, bu eksikliği biraz olsun gidermek için DKAB ders programı ve kitaplarını Allah algısı açısından incelemektedir. Bu doğrultuda araştırmanın iki temel hedefi vardır. Birinci hedef, örgün eğitimde ilk defa DKAB dersi görmeye başlayan ve somut işlemler döneminde olan 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin ders kitaplarında nasıl bir Allah tanımlaması ile karşılaştıklarını tespit etmektir. İkinci hedef ise bu tanımlamanın o yaş dönemindeki çocukların bilişsel ve duyuşsal gelişim düzeylerine uygun olup olmadığını ve çocukların olumlu yönde Allah algısı geliştirmelerine katkı sağlayıp sağlamadığını incelemektir. Çalışma, nitel araştırma yöntemi ve içerik analizi tekniği ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma materyalini, 4. ve 5. sınıf DKAB ders programı ve kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Önceden belirlenen dört temel kategori ve araştırma materyalinde Allah’ı tanımlamak için kullanılan ifadeler temel alınarak analiz işlemleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucuna göre 4. ve 5. sınıf DKAB ders programı ve kitaplarında içsel süreçler açısından çocuktaki Allah algısını olumlu yönde desteklemeye yönelik bilinçli bir stratejinin belirlenmediği ve İslam inancındaki Allah’a yönelik olumlu bağlanma figürlerine gerektiği kadar yer verilmediği tespit edilmiştir.
The perception of God is a critical type of perception that begins to form in childhood and can affect the whole life of the individual over time. The perception of God acquired through childhood education is vital. However, no extensive studies on how the perception of God is formed in Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge (RCMK) curricula and textbooks in Turkey have been conducted. To address this gap in the field, this study examines RCMK syllabus and textbooks in terms of God perception. This study has two main objectives. The first is to determine what kind of God definition the fourth and fifth grade students are exposed to in their formal education. The second is to evaluate whether this definition is appropriate for children's cognitive and affective development levels, as well as whether it is a positive perception of God in terms of psychology of religion. Qualitative research method and content analysis technique were applied in the study. The research materials included the RCMK curriculum and textbooks for grades 4 and 5. The analysis was based on four predetermined categories and the expressions used in the research material to define God. The study's findings indicate that the fourth and fifth grade religious studies textbooks and curricula suffer from a lack of a strategy to support the child's perception of God and insufficiency of positive attachment figures towards God in teaching sources as proclaimed in Islamic faith.
