Suriye İç Savaşında Göz Yaralanmasına Maruz Kalmış Suriyeli Sivillerin Kesitsel İncelemesi

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Suriye iç savaşı nedeniyle yaralanan Suriyeli sivillerdeki göz yaralanmalarını araştırmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu ileriye dönük, kesitsel çalışmaya, Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi’ne Mayıs 2012 – Aralık 2012 tarihleri arasında başvuran, 214 Suriyeli sivilin 277 göz yaralanması dahil edildi. Bulgular: Göz yaralanması nedeniyle başvuran Suriyeli sivillerin yaş ortalaması 27.35 ± 10.99 yıldı (yaş aralığı: 2-50). Olguların %95.8’i erkek, %36’sı işçi, %21’i öğrenci idi. Hastaların %28’i ilk 24 saatte, %48.1’i 1-3. gün arasında başvuruda bulundu. Yaralanmaya neden olan cisim %81.3’ünde şarapnel, %18.7’sinde mermiydi. Olguların %70.6’sında tek gözde, %29.4’ünde çift gözde yaralanma mevcuttu. Yaralanma türü̈ bakımından %59.9’u kapalı, %40.1’i açık glob yaralanması idi. Kapalı glob yaralanması olgularının %45.8’inde oküler yüzeyde yabancı cisim, %21.1’inde mikst (karışık) yaralanma şeklinde mevcuttu. Bu olguların %45.2’sinde zon 1, %21.1’inde zon 2 tutulumu vardı. Bu olguların görme keskinliği %38’inde evre 1, %25.3’ünde evre 2 idi. Açık glob yaralanması olgularının %35.1’inde penetran yaralanma, %27.9’unda göz içi yabancı cisim mevcuttu. Bu olguların %55’inde zon 3, %27.9 zon 1 tutulumu vardı. Bu olguların görme keskinliği %45’inde evre 5, %41.4’ünde evre 4 idi. Sonuç: Savaşta oluşan göz yaralanmaları, özellikle genç erkek bireyleri etkileyen ve kalıcı görme kayıplarına neden olabilen yaralanmalardır.

Syrian Civilians Who Were Injured In The Syrian Internal War

The aim of this study is to investigate the eye injury of Syrian civilians wounded by the Syrian Civil War. Tools and Methods: This forward-looking, cutting-edge study included 277 eye injuries of 214 Syrian civilians, who applied to the Mustafa Kemal University School of Medicine Hospital between May 2012 and December 2012. Results: The average age of Syrian civilians applying for eye injury was 27.35 ± 10.99 years (age range: 2-50). 95.8% of the cases were men, 36% were workers and 21% were students. 28% of patients applied in the first 24 hours and 48.1% between 1 and 3 days. In 81.3% of the body that caused the injury was wine and in 18.7% was gun. In 70.6 percent of cases, one-loved injuries and 29.4 percent double-loved injuries occurred. In terms of the type of injury, 59.9% is closed, 40% is closed. 1 was an open glob wound. In 45.8% of the cases of closed globe injuries, foreign bodies were present on the oculus surface and in 21.1% in the form of mixed (mixed) injuries. In 45.2% of these incidents, Zone 1, in 21.1% had Zone 2 collapse. The visual severity of these phenomena was at 38% stage 1, at 25.3% stage 2. In 35.1 percent of the open-global injuries occurred penetrating injuries, and in 27.9 percent there were invisible bodies. In 55% of these incidents, Zone 3 was 27.9% Zone 1 covered. In 45% of these phenomena, the visual accuracy was stage 5, in 41.4% stage 4. The result: eye injuries in the war are injuries that affect young men, especially men, and can lead to permanent vision loss.
