Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the attitudes of students at the Faculty of Sports Sciences (SBF) towards games that include physical activity according to various variables. In the study, the scan model (betimical) was used. The study group consisted of 102 women, 118 men and a total of 220 students, selected by the simple random sampling method studied at Afyon Kocatepe University SBF. The study used the “playability scale (18-22 years of age)” as a data collection tool. As a data analysis, the findings about the demographic characteristics of the students have been applied to the Tukey test to determine the frequency and percentage of their attitudes towards the games that include physical activity, the average and standard deviation, the Varyans analysis to compare the average points in non-related measurements (one-way ANOVA, independent sampling t-test), to determine which groups are the meaningful differences. The study found that SBF students had a high level of attitude towards games that involve physical activity. In terms of gender variation, men’s students are more willing to play than women’s students. As the class level increases, the attitudes of students towards games that include physical activity are also increasing. Students who use the gym outside the classroom have been determined to get more enjoyment and risk than the games. In addition, the conclusion was that taking a game-related course increased the attitude towards the game on SBF students who participated in the research.
