Çalışmaya katılan tıp fakültesi öğrencilerinin 65’i erkek (%27,8), 83’ü kadın (%35,6) spor bilimleri (SBF) öğrencilerinin 50’si (%21,4), erkek 35’i kadındır (%15,0).
Introduction: Evaluation of nutrition and physical activity behaviors helps to evaluate health determinants and to plan future interventions. The assessment of the levels of nutrition and physical activity of students studying in two sections with health is important to prevent health-related problems. This study aims to evaluate the nutrition and physical activity of students studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine. Method: This study is an identifiable type of research. I am not a doctor at the University of Medicine 1. 2nd and 3rd class students (n=642) with the Faculty of Sports Sciences 1. Students of 2nd and 3rd classes (n=773) have received an online survey. The survey consists of 3 sections: Individual Questions, Nutrition and Exercise Behavior Scale (BEDO) and International Physical Activity Survey (UFAA). The data analysis was carried out in the Jamovi program, the statistical significance value was considered p <0.05 . 233 students participated in the study. The average age of participants is 20,04±2,01. 65 of the medical faculty students who participated in the study were men (27.8 percent), 83 women (35.6 percent); 50 of the sports sciences (SBF) students (21.4 percent), 35 men and 15 percent were women (15.0 percent). The BEDÖ scores of the students of the Faculty of Medicine and Sports Sciences show statistical significance in all subdimensions. The median value of the UFAA scores of students at the Faculty of Sports Sciences is 2922,0 MET min/week (very active) while the median value of the UFAA scores of students at the Faculty of Medicine is 1459,5 MET min/week (minimal active) (p<0,001). Men are physically more active while showing healthier nutritional behavior and psychological eating behavior. Result: The nutrition behavior scores of the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences are higher than the students of the Faculty of Medicine. They are also more active for medical school students than Nazareth.
