Abstract:

In Turkey in 2017, with the changes made in the Education Programs, different from the previous Programs, "Values and Values Education" has become the main focus of the teaching program. The teaching programmes include the root values of "justness, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism, utility" in national, spiritual and universal quality. The study aims to investigate the level of insert of the value of self-audit in the lessons used in Turkish teaching at the level 5, 6, 7 and 8 in the 2019-2020 educational year in Turkey. The method of document examination was used. The study documented the distribution to students in the 2019-2020 educational year as 5, 6, 7 and 8. Turkish class lessons are used. In the study, the level of self-audit in the Turkish curriculum books has been considered comparatively at all levels of the high school. Preparatory studies, texts, events and thematic end evaluation studies included in the curriculum books are analyzed according to the visual analysis of the self-audit value, the quality data analysis approaches. The research results have found that the self-audit value in the curriculum books is at a low level.
