Bu araştırma kapsamında lisans öğrencilerinin Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojilerini BİT kullanmalarına yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi ve cinsiyet, bölüm, internete ulaşma olanağı, internet kullanma süresi ve kişisel bilgisayar sahipliği açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tarama modeline göre yürütülen bu araştırmada muhasebe eğitimi alan 496 öğrenciden elde edilen veriler kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama araçları olarak BİT’e Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği ve araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen öğrenci bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Bulgular öğrencilerin BİT’e yönelik tutumlarının okudukları bölümlere göre anlamlı düzeyde değişmediğini göstermiştir. Bununla birlikte öğrencilerin tutumları; cinsiyet, kendilerine ait bilgisayar olup olmaması, internet erişim imkanı ve internet kullanım süreleri açısından anlamlı farklılık göstermektedir. Araştırma sonuçları muhasebe eğitimi alan ve gelecekte mesleklerinde BİT’ten sıklıkla yararlanacak öğrencilerin tutumlarını ortaya koymuş ve eğitim süreçlerinde onlara sunulan BİT olanakları hakkında öneriler ileri sürmüştür.
This study aimed to find out attitudes of undergraduate students, taking Accounting course, towards ICT and to examine their attitudes in terms of gender, department, opportunity of internet access, time spent on the internet and ownership of a computer. The study was conducted as a survey. The data were gathered from 496 students using the ICT attitude scale and the student information form. According to the findings of the study, there was not a significant differnce between attitudes of students towards ICT according to their departments. On the other hand, it was observed that students’ attitudes showed significant difference in terms of gender, opportunity of internet access, time spent on the internet and ownership of a computer. Results presented the attitudes of students, who would probably make use of ICT after graduation in their business, towards ICT. In addition, results pointed out the requirement of enhanging ICT opportunities
