Abstract:

The main objective of this research is to determine the math lessons, the science lessons and the Turkish lessons of the 5th grade high school students and to be able to reveal the relationships between the levels of achieving the achievements of these three courses through the data mining method. The sample of the study is made up of 4.564 five-class students who studied in the Afyonkarahisar province in the 2017-2018 educational year and were determined by the non-selective sample method from all high schools. As a data collection tool, a success test related to the achievements of mathematics, science and Turkish courses has been created. With the success test created, the data was collected and the data collected was analyzed in the WEKA program with the data mining method. According to the research findings, the students’ success levels of achieving math class achievements are 49.52 out of 100, the Turkish class achievements are 54.95 and the science class achievements are 52.3. In other words, the level of achievement of students in Mathematics, Turkish and Science courses is low. The study also found that the course of science expresses the ways of protecting from devastating natural events and that "their achievements and achievements from the mathematics course, by giving examples to the living, are classified according to similarities and differences, and that "when all of them are divided into 10, 100 or 1000 couples, it determines that the units of the outgoing scratch can be expressed by a decimal expression" have a direct impact on the solution of questions related to other achievements.
