Bu çalışmanın amacı 6. Sınıf Türkçe Ders Kitabında yer alan metinleri 2019 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programındaki kök değerler ve Schwartz’ın Değer Grupları Tablosuna göre incelemektir. Araştırmada verilerin derlenmesinde nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin çözümlenmesinde ise betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında 6. Sınıf Türkçe Ders Kitabındaki 24 okuma metni incelenmiş olup dinleme/izleme ve serbest okuma metinleri değerlendirmeye alınmamıştır. Metinlerde değer ifadesi barındıran cümleler ilgili değer kategorisine dâhil edilmiş, her değerin frekansları metinlere göre ayrı ayrı hesaplanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında kök değerler adalet, dostluk, dürüstlük, öz denetim, sabır, saygı, sevgi, sorumluluk, vatanseverlik ve yardımseverlik alt değerlerinden; Schwartz’ın Değer Grupları ise güç, başarı, hazcılık, uyarılım, özyönelim, evrenselcilik, iyilikseverlik, gelenek, uyma ve güvenlik alt değerlerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda 6. Sınıf Türkçe Ders Kitabındaki metinlerde kök değerlere 163 defa yer verildiği ve bunların içinde vatanseverlik, sevgi ve yardımseverlik değerlerininsık kullanılan değerler olduğu adalet ve dürüstlük gibi iki önemli kök değere çok az yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra aynı metinlerde Schwartz’ın Değerler Tablosunda yer alan değerlere ise 168 defa yer verildiği bulgulanmıştır. İyilikseverlik, güvenlik, evrenselcilik, hazcılık ve gelenek değerleri sık kullanılan değerler olarak öne çıkmakta iken başarı, uyarılım ve uyum ise diğer değerlere oranla az kullanılan değerler olmuştur.
The purpose of this work is 6. The text contained in the Class Turkish Curriculum is to be studied according to the root values in the 2019 Turkish Curriculum and the Schwartz's Value Group Table. In the study, the data collection used the document review of the quality research methods. In the analysis of the research data, the visual analysis method was used. In the field of research 6. The 24 reading texts in the Class Turkish Curriculum were studied and the listening/seeing and free reading texts were not taken to be evaluated. The sentences containing the expression of value in the texts are included in the relevant value category, and the frequencies of each value are calculated separately according to the texts. In the framework of the research, the root values consist of justice, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism and utility; and Schwartz’s Values Groups consist of power, success, pleasure, encouragement, self-orientation, universality, charity, tradition, conformity and security. The results of the research 6. The text in the Class Turkish Curriculum has found that root values are listed 163 times and that two important root values are listed very little, such as justice and honesty, in which patriotism, love and utility values are commonly used values. In the same text, Schwartz’s values were listed 168 times, while the values in the Value Table were listed 168 times. The values of charity, security, universality, pleasure and tradition are often used as values, while success, encouragement and consistency are less used than other values.
