Abstract:

Although there is no consensus on this, personality is a subject that has been studied for centuries. There are many different types of personality that can be identified in different dimensions, and there are many different types of personality that can not be identified. What personality characteristic is also an open topic to study about which behaviors or life skills tend to be. The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between individual personality characteristics and levels of psychological stability. The study’s study group consisted of 312 women over the age of 18. Participation in the research was provided on the basis of the principle of volunteering and was gathered in 2019 with a simple sample method. The permissions required for data collection tools have been obtained. As a data collection tool, Turkish adaptation studies have been used by Bal and Shahin (2011) with the Cervantes Personality Scale and the Short Psychological Sustainability Scale adapted to Turkish by Doğan (2015). The researchers also collected demographic information about the work group with the personal information form prepared by the researcher. The data was analyzed in the SPSS 25 program. In the analysis of the relationships between the variables, the Pearson correlation technique was used, the t-test in comparison of the two variables, and the one-way variance analysis in three or more categories of variables. The Bonferroni test was used to determine the source of the difference. The results of the analyses have determined that there are meaningful relationships between psychological strength and personality characteristics, and there are meaningful differences in terms of age, civil status, level of education, working and working in a job. The data received was discussed in the light of the area.
