Abstract:

The aim of this research is to reveal the effectiveness of the creative science education program on the learning and perception skills of five-year-old children. In this study, which used the pre-test-final test control group test model, 60 children were included, including 30 tests (14 girls, 16 boys), 30 tests (14 girls, 16 boys), which were selected by the way of reflectless sampling from two pre-school education institutions with similar characteristics and continued pre-school education. Data Personal Information Form, Science Learning Assessment (SLA) and Perspective-Taking (Perspective-Taking) Test for 4-5 years of age are collected with the Cognitive and Perceptive Perspective (Perspective-Taking) Test. In the analysis of the data, comparing the pre-test points of the experiment and control groups, the t test, the experiment and control group in independent groups compared the pre-test to the final test, and there was no significant difference in the average pre-test points between the groups, the two-way variance analysis (ANOVA) technique was used. A statistically meaningful difference has been achieved in the test-first-test score average of the test and control groups in favour of the test group. The results showed that the science education program applied to children in the experimental group has an impact on the skills of children to learn science and take a perspective.
