Abstract:

This study is a study aimed at revealing whether school managers’ devastating leadership behaviors have an impact on teachers’ organizational stress. For this purpose, a relative scanning model from quantum research methods has been used. The universe of research constitutes 4235 teachers working in the state schools located in the Tuzla district of Istanbul in the 2019-2020 educational year. The sample group is composed of 450 teachers chosen by the sample method from the teachers working in primary, secondary and high school in Tuzla district. The study found that high school and high school teachers perceived school directors as more destructive leaders than primary school teachers. Destroying leadership perceptions, depending on teachers’ gender, level of education and age, have not shown a significant difference. High school teachers’ organizational stress perceptions have been found to be higher than primary school teachers. There has been a meaningful relationship between devastating leadership and organizational stress in a positive direction at a medium level. Destroying leadership behaviors also treat organizational stress by 17%.
