Abstract:

This study aims to reveal the climate characteristics of the Hassa district located in the Adana department, which forms the east of the Mediterranean region. For this purpose, the work included the solarity, temperature, pressure and winds, and the moisture and rain characteristics. According to the purpose of the study, climate data was analyzed by various methods and evaluated by geographical information systems. The local stations were used daily, monthly and long-year average values between 1975-2014. But because there is no consistency between the values, with the help of comparative stations, the vaccines in the periods of ration are completed with the help of various formulas. The short-term races are again converted into long-term races using comparative races. The data obtained from various transactions and a set of forms are described in accordance with the principles of comparison, distribution and cause-effect. After all of these assessments, it has been found that the Hassa District is more likely to the ground floor in terms of climate characteristics.
