Abstract:

This work, 6. Class Social Information Course "Resources of our country" is done in order to solve the problems that the researcher-applicator experiences in the learning unit and in this context to reveal the effects of the use of cartoon on the learning and teaching process. It is believed that the study will give an idea that social information teachers will understand the importance of using cartoons in their classes. As a researcher, he was involved in the process. The research has been used by experts in the preparation of curriculum plans. Curriculum plans are also designed to provide students with knowledge, skills and values during the process. The data teacher is collected through semi-configured conversation techniques with student logs. The data collected is subject to content analysis from the quality analysis methods. The findings found that the use of cartoon in the social information course attracted the interest of students in general, made the lesson fun, contributed to the formation of a class atmosphere based on inter-class communication and cooperation. It has also been observed that the use of cartoons in the social information course facilitates the understanding of abstract topics and contributes in a positive direction to the success of students.
