Abstract:

The aim of the study is to identify the organizational silence perceptions of high school teachers and to determine whether organizational silence perceptions differ in terms of independent variables. The research is imaginary and the general scan model has been used in the research. The universe of research is formed by teachers of high school in the educational and educational year 2017-2018 in the province of Malatya or Greşilyurt. The method of sampling was easily used in the research. The study consists of 232 teachers. The "Organic Silence Measurement" developed by Kahveci and Demirtaş as a data collection tool has been used. T test and one-way variance analysis were conducted to determine whether there is a meaningful difference between the variables. In the study, the organizational silence perceptions of high school teachers came to the middle level. The perception of organizational silence is high in the lower dimension of the school environment and the source of silence; the perception of organizational silence is high in the lower dimension of emotions, management and isolation; the perception of organizational silence is not significantly different according to the variables of gender, civil status, state of learning, branch and professional age. Only the state of learning varies according to the sensational lower dimension. This difference is as follows: graduate teachers experience more organizational silence than graduate teachers.
