Bu çalışmanın amacı, dersi TEOG sınavı kapsamında olmayan ortaokul öğretmenlerinin; öğrencileri, okul yöneticileri ve velilerle ilişkileri ile derslerinin öğretim ve değerlendirme boyutlarını, TEOG sınavının nasıl etkilediğine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırma, Ankara’nın merkezinde ve tümü devlet okulu statüsünde yedi okuldaki toplam 35 görsel sanatlar, beden eğitimi, teknoloji ve tasarım ve müzik dersi öğretmeni ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğretmen görüşleri beş açık uçlu soru ve öğretmenlere ait demografik ve mesleki bazı özellikleri içeren bir anket formu ile alınmıştır. Verilerin analizi nitel veri analizi yöntemlerinden içerik analizi tekniği ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda; öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre; TEOG sınavı kapsamında yer almadığı için, öğrenciler, okul yöneticileri ve veliler görsel sanatlar, teknoloji ve tasarım, müzik ve beden eğitimi derslerini önemsiz görmektedirler. Bu durum öğretmenlerle öğrenciler, okul yöneticileri ve velilerin ilişkilerini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Ayrıca sınavın sınıf içi öğretim ve değerlendirme etkinliklerini de olumsuz yönde etkilediği, öğretmenlerin objektif değerlendirme yapamadıklarını ve öğrenciler, idareciler ve velilerin kendilerinden yüksek not bekletisi veya talebi içinde olduklarını belirtmişlerdir.
The purpose of this study is to determine the views of the teachers of the secondary school not covered by the TEOG exam; their relations with students, school managers and guardians and the teaching and evaluation dimensions of their courses, how the TEOG exam affects. The research was carried out with a total of 35 visual arts, body education, technology and design and music lessons teachers in the center of Ankara and all in the state school status in seven schools. Teacher opinions were taken with a survey form that contains five open end questions and some demographic and professional characteristics of teachers. Data analysis is done through the content analysis technique from the quality data analysis methods. The study finds that, according to the teachers’ opinions, because it is not included in the TEOG exam, students, school managers and guardians see lessons of visual arts, technology and design, music and body education unimportant. This situation has a negative impact on the relationships between teachers and students, school managers and guardians. They also pointed out that the exam also has a negative impact on classroom teaching and evaluation activities, that teachers are unable to do objective evaluations and that students, administrators and guardians are expecting or demanding high scores from themselves.
