Abstract:

In our competition age, it has diverse functions in every field. The 21st century is an important criterion in the ranking of countries in the international arena. In this study we analyze the "Global Competition Components" of the countries and, according to these analyses, we find out the situation of our country. According to the analysis, the competitive structures of the world’s countries in terms of technology, efficiency and innovation are studied by their subcomponents. The international competition rankings rank the structural variables of the countries each year by the WEF’s survey and these components are described. It is intended to reveal why our country is behind in the competitiveness race. There is a lot of work to be done and it is studied that our country should be able to gain competitive structure in this area and constantly invest in innovation. In the second part of our article, the competitive components will show what the cities will be able to do and what the 2023 goals should be. In this section where the competition of the nations will be addressed, more national competition components and local competition components will be attempted. In this context, the popularity of competitive components for the competition of cities makes cities more attractive. The implementation of competitive components at the national level will increase the competitiveness of that country in total. Competitiveness can be applied in every city of the country, with equal distribution of investments, local management, local solutions to problems, the effective use of resources. The mega city, the main city, reveals the national-state relationship as a whole by carrying the complementary elements of other cities. For this, the competitive power of the components will be examined from the basit settlement to the result of the country's change.
