Abstract:

Özet: Araştırma, ilköğretim 5. sınıf programının öğrencilerin yansıtıcı düşünmelerini geliştirmedeki etkisine yönelik sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma betimsel nitelikte olup tarama (survey) modeline dayalı nicel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 32 ilköğretim okulunda çalışan 160 sınıf öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin ilköğretim programının yansıtıcı düşünme becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik görüşlerinin incelenen değişkenlere göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık göstermediği saptanmıştır. Yeni mezun öğretmenlerin kıdemli öğretmenlere nazaran programın öğrencilerin yansıtıcı düşünme becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik görüşlerindeki katılmama düzeylerinin daha düşük olduğu görülmüştür. Eğitim Fakülteleri mezunlarının Diğer fakültelere oranla programın yansıtıcı düşünme becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik görüşlerinde daha üst düzeyde katılmadıkları görülmektedir. Genel çerçevede, öğretmenlerin 5. sınıf programının yansıtıcı düşünme becerilerini geliştirmediğini düşündükleri sonucuna ulaşılmaktadır. Araştırma sonuçlarının dikkate alınarak programın yansıtıcı düşünme becerilerini geliştirmesinin sağlanması ve yaşanan aksaklıkların giderilmesi önerilmektedir. Anahtar kelimeler: Yansıtıcı düşünme, Sınıf öğretmeni, Program Abstract: The study aims to investigate the views of the primary school teachers towards the fifth grade curriculum on the development of reflective thinking skills. The study is based on the survey model. The study group consists of 160 primary school teachers from 32 primary school in Sivas. The views of the study group towards the effect of reflective thinking skills in the fifth grade curriculum do not show statistically difference depending on the some variables. The newly graduated teachers think that the programme does not improve the reflective thinking skills slightlier than the senior teachers. The teachers from faculty of Education do not agree more intensely that the programme improves the reflective thinking skills than the teachers graduated from other faculties. The results are in the way that the fifth grade programme does not improve the reflective thinking skills in general. It is suggested that the results of the study should be taken in to consideration, the deficiencies should be minimized and the need for improving reflective thinking skills in the fifth grade programme should be fulfilled.
