So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

In this research, teachers’ points of views on the new primary curriculum were determined. A total number of 233 teachers from the European side of İstanbul - 4 of whom are working in State Schools and 6 in Private - have made up the sampling. The results obtained from the teachers’ opinions are stated below: a) The modifications subject to new primary curriculum are on the whole, regarded as positive. b) The new curriculum are perceived to contribute students’ cognitive, socio-emotional, and literacy progress. c) The formation and conception of “measurement and evaluation” of the new program is also valued positively. d) The majority of the teachers see themselves satisfactory on putting the new program into practice. e) It is a dominant conception that the number and quality of the in service trainings are not quite adequate. f) The Internet and interaction with other colleagues are benefited for teachers’ self development. g) The major problem of practicing the new program is thought to be timing and congested classrooms.
