Abstract:

This research is implemented in the 2017-2018 educational year in the Social Information Course Teaching Program (Middle School 5, 6 and 7. Classes) aim to study in terms of digital citizenship and sub-dimensions. The research was done in the form of the scan of the Social Information Course Teaching Program with the method of document study. The Social Information Course as a source of data in research (Middle School 5, 6 and 7). Classes are used. The research data was collected in the 2017-2018 educational year. The data obtained in the research was analyzed using the imagistic analysis technique. The research results in the basic philosophy of the Social Information Course Teaching Program, in its general purposes, key competencies, skills and values, digital citizenship and subdimensions are sometimes directly and sometimes indirectly placed in a way to support digital citizenship, although the achievements within the learning fields and learning fields have not been shown to sufficiently reflect digital citizenship and subdimensions.
