Abstract:

The objective of this research is to determine whether the teachers candidates who are studying in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching in the Faculty of Education of the University of Sports Sciences and the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports High Schools have entrepreneurial qualifications and whether the level of entrepreneurship changes according to different variables. Students from 10 different universities who participated in our study were determined by the responses they gave to the scale form the entrepreneurial attitude and levels. The student’s level of entrepreneurship has been high. It has not been observed that the level of entrepreneurship of students does not change according to the gender, university and class variables they study. A significant difference in entrepreneurship levels has been seen between the groups with income levels of 0-2000 TL and over 6000 TL. It is believed that the income of capital holds the largest place in the resources needed for entrepreneurial activities due to the fact that it is compatible with income. It has been determined that the majority of students are informed through the internet and visual press of topics related to entrepreneurship and that the majority of them have an entrepreneurial business idea. Entrepreneurship courses in the institutions that provide sports education at the pre-Bachelor and Bachelor level of universities should be taken into the mandatory program. Successful, experienced business people should be focused on meeting students. The appearance of more entrepreneurs, with the frequent repetition of educational activities, is of great importance for our country, which is a continuous growth and development goal.
