Bu araştırmanın amacı İlköğretim Okullarında görev yapan okul yöneticilerinin değişimi yönetme yeterliklerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2010 öğretim yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı MEBGEP (Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının Kapasitesinin Güçlendirmesi Projesi) projesi kapsamında 4 bölgede eğitim verilen 100 ilköğretim okulu yöneticisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri Ak (2006) tarafından geliştirilen “Değişimi Yönetme Yeterlik Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmada veriler frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi gibi betimsel istatistiksel işlemlerle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada, ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan okul yöneticilerinin değişimi yönetme yeterlikleri ölçeğin alt boyutlarından “Okulda değişim ihtiyacını belirleme”, “Okulda değişimim sürecine hazırlama”, “Okulda Değişim Uygulama” boyutlarında “çok yeterli”, “Okulda değişimi değerlendirme” boyutunda ise “pek çok” yeterli oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yöneticilerin değişimi yönetme yeterliklerine ilişkin algıları arasında Yaş, Mesleki Kıdem ve Yöneticilik kıdemleri göre görüşleri arasında bir farka rastlanmamıştır.
The aim of this study is to identify primary school managers’ at primary schools innovation management competencies. 100 primary school managers who participated in Ministry of National Education MEBGEP (Capacity Bulding Support for the Ministry National Education) at 4 districts formed the study group. The data were collected through Innovation Management Competencies Scale developed by Ak (2006). For the analysis of the data frequency, percentage, mean scores and standart deviation scores were calculated and t-test and One Way ANOVA were used. The study of primary schools in the school administrators managing the change to the competencies of the scale in the lower dimension; “at School, the need for change detection”, “School shift in the process of preparation”, “School of Change in the Application of the” size “far enough”, “School exchange of evaluation” in the size of the “many” is enough to conclude that has been reached. No significant differences were found in the perceptions of primary school managers with respect to their ages, years of experience in teaching and management.
